Wildcat Creek Cattery - Indiana Maine Coons
Tica registered cattery in Kokomo, IN
Kitten Process...
1.) I suggest you do your own research on Maine Coons before buying one. I have some information on my website to help you get started. They are awesome pets but they are also giant kittens for the first two years of their life. They also do best in pairs.
2.) Our Cattery is registered with Tica. You can look us up under Wildcatcreek. All our adults are DNA health tested through Optimal Selection and are n/n. FIV/FELV test through our Vet and is negative.
3.) Look over my website and read the kitten contract to make sure you agree to my terms.
4.) Our kittens are for pets only. Tica registration will say "not for breeding".
5.) I do not allow declawing of our kittens or adult cats.
6.) I will post videos and pictures of kittens and our adults on Facebook and Instagram for fun and facts. I only take inquiries on my website.
7.) When kittens are vet checked and around 8 weeks old, I will post on my website the available kittens under KITTENS FOR SALE.
8.) Once you decide which kitten you would like you will need to pay by PayPal or Credit Card. Then you will need to come back and fill out the kitten contract. Both must be done same day to hold the kitten.
9.) Pick up dates will be listed with the kitten. We will discuss further on pick up day and time that works for you.
10.) Your kitten will come with Purina One Kitten food, toys, Tica registration form, kitten contract, vet checked, vet paper, age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and Revolution flea medication.
10.) I do not have a waiting list anymore. The waiting list would be up to a year wait and it has proven over a 3 year span people do not want to actually wait. I rarely had anyone respond back. I will not take money unless I have a kitten available so I will not do a waiting list fee. Kittens are a first come first serve basis.
11.) I will send a group email out to those who subscribe to our newsletter when kittens or retired cats are available. You can sign up at the bottom of any page on my website or keep checking back.
*I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a sale of any kitten or cat, anytime up until the time of delivery, for any reason, if I feel it is not in the best interest of the kitten or cat.
*There are ones who will get first pick prior to listing, myself, and previous approved families who have received a kitten from us already.

Things to ask yourself...
Are you prepared to take care of a cat it's whole life? If you agree to returning a cat because it didn't work out, can't afford to care for it, allergies or dump them off do not get a pet. They are life long commitments.
Are you finically stable to take care of a cat? Animals are costly and require check ups for well visits or sickness through it's whole life. Once they leave us they are your responsibility to be taken care of. I do not want our babies neglected because you do not have the funds. You can always message me if you have any questions. I will direct you on what would be best to help the cat. I cannot promise a cat will never have a cold or any illness as that is life and no one is exempt from that. We do test all our breeders for genetic health. All our cats are health checked by our vet before leaving us. I let our cats leave as I believe they are healthy and our Vet says they are healthy. Kittens have lower immune systems and can cause a cold when moving into their new home. Things to look out for are green goop on the eyes and nose. Just about every time we get a new kitten for our breeding program they get a cold from the traveling and new environment. Your vet can prescribe an antibiotic to clear that right up if that does occur.
